missing candi
« on: January 15, 2007, 08:15:45 AM »
i live in kemp,ok. & it's icy here. we're stuck in the house. all i can think of is candi & that i miss her sooooo much it hurts.  i'd love to hear her say " i love you aunt martha."
it's going to be a long depressing day . it's not suppose to get above freezing today or tomorrow.  my husband has a doctor's appt. this afternoon & i can't drive on ice. it terrifies me.
he's suppose to get the stitches out today. some of our family went without power last night. we live way out in the country & we're usually the one without power. there's so much ice on the lines that it can still break.

Oh Martha  - this weather is just wrong everywhere isn't it? Please do be careful if you need to go out. Thinking of you and your husband, hope he is healing fast. Hope your power comes on and stays on. The weather is depressing and doesn't help our longing at all... please know you and Candi are in my thoughts.

hugs, Karen

When we had the ice storm   here in Quebec it was the best time had Jeff, Jenn and Jon.

I will never forget them playing  monopoly and no one wanting to own the south, my kids are so politically inkline

when it snows like today blowing and cold his friends told me this is a Jeff's day,

he died on a day like to day and was buried on the same, he loved the blowing snow, the weird weather,

this makes me miss him and think of and all of you

you will
get through the bad weather this that mankind had created

but do we?

still fighting my own Stormy weather hope all make it through thinking of all of you and with love

Just take one minute at a time. I know that being isolated during the winter is very tough and even tougher when you are in a sad mood.
I hope that the weather lets up and you can venture outside soon.

Thinking of you and Candi,
Wishing You All Continuous Comfort & Peace,

Hi Martha:
I hate the cold weather and snow always makes me think of my Jason.
He was a snowboarder, hockey player.  He died on Dec 15 and it was sooo cold and freezing here.  All these things along with football make me think of my Jason.  How our lives are so different now.  One day, one moment, one breathe at a time!!
Stay warm and try to enjoy your family time together!!
hugs and love
