My dearest and only one,today is so peaceful night,
weŽve got a patron of two us within reach and sight,
I feel so saved,he has been helpful these hard times,
a bridge upward to you after had torn down our lives.
He even may subdue my neverending grief so much,
it helps to stand such pain when I need your touch,
I feel hope and comfort living for you day after day,
as I donŽt stop praying for us,with me always stay.
Since my life has been a river of everlasting tears,
thereŽs so much to tell you that my heart still bears,
a hard state of being,so incredible day-to-day fight,
but what does it matter when I have you,my light?
You light up a mourning journey of my lonely life,
I want to be always and forever your loving wife,
youŽll change the tears onto the roses,beloved Jan,
since I met you,you are my dearest and only one.
