Divorce?
« on: April 24, 2014, 01:03:25 PM »
Does anyone know any good books specifically dealing with the grief over a divorce? My daughter is going through one and having a very hard time with it. She asked last night for resources for dealing with it.

If you know anything, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi Doug.

If I remember correctly your daughter is already seperated/divorced.  Don't let the title throw you off, its very good at covering emotions whether one decides to stay or leave.

Too Good to Leave, Too Bad to Stay by Mira Kirshenbaum.

You might also try a search on Amazon, and read reviews.

She's been somewhat separated for several months. The divorce just got filed Friday...served this morning. It just started and looks like it's gonna be long and ugly unfortunately.

Just getting started.

She doesn't have anything to decide. Her husband stopped speaking to her months ago and he's the one who filed. It wasn't her choice.

Thanks!
