Thank you, Terry. It's been thirteen years.

Hard to believe.

Thanks.

Thank you, Terry!

By the way, you know what I just found out? I gave you the wrong date!! My wife's ex-husband was murdered the same day as my dad died. (Actually he didn't officially die until April, but he never came off life support after it.)

The whole couple months was kind of a blur. I've never been to the gravesite since my dad's funeral. It's just not a thing I do. I never saw the headstone. I just always thought it was February 20. I normally never mention it. Just thought that in my head.

Well, last weekend, I saw the kids posting things on Facebook about their dad. They're my step-kids. It's always been a special bond we had...our dads basically died the same day. "I can't believe it's been thirteen years." Things like that. I asked my wife,"Jerry's thing was today?"

She said,"Yeah."

"Wasn't that the same day as my dad?"

"Yeah."

So, it turns out Doug, Sr.'s angel date was February 24. All these years, I thought it was February 20.

I'm not real good at those. I almost never notice when they're here. Birthdays I always remember. Can you fix that for me in the calendar?
