Christmas without Maureen Again..
« on: December 20, 2012, 12:09:30 AM »
What else can I say anybody here doesn't understand all too well through their own losses about this time of year since
we lost the love of our lives? Well...I made a little more progress than last year. I got as far as the tree and lights..but I just can't find
anything other reason to put up any more decorations. In the last few days I've had occasion to be in places where we spent time together..
and the memories came back. I wonder if Christmas will ever be like it was before...it still is a pale thing compared to what we had before
when Maureen was alive. I hope everyone here has a Merry Xmas  and a happy New year. arthur

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy

Wishing you the same.  :engel2:

No, Christmas will never be the same.  :tearyeyed: My brother loved Christmas, and it has never been the same.

Thinking of you my friend.

Pam is right I don't think it will ever be the same.  Lou loved Christmas just as much as me.

Maybe oneday JOY will come back into our lives at Christmas but who knows.

Wishing you the same.

May 2013 have more healing, good health and peace for you.

The joy seems to be gone from almost everything it seems without our partners.   After 14 months I have yet to see an advantage of being single again.  Everything was better with a loved one to share it with.
Take care Art, and everyone else here.
