A Rose
« on: December 02, 2012, 09:05:33 AM »
I was just outside with the dog and noticed something rather unusual. In the backyard next to the house is a single rose bush. This is a bush I bought at the first Relay for Life at which I piped after Kit died. Tday I noticed a single rose blooming ... in December? I wonder if Kit is sending a message?

What do you think John?
I reckon you are absolutely right :) What else could it be xxx
Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy

John, this is my "Winter Rose" and it comes back every year but not before the temperature drops below 20 and stays cold. Usually around Jan. or Feb. This rose is off of the huge rose bush that is planted in the center of my children's gardens. They are all pruned and very short but this seems to grow out of nowhere and at the bottom of the root. It's amazing!

I take this as a sign every year that my children are watching me, thinking of me. I believe that Kit is doing the same!

Love,
Terry
