For Lesley
« on: April 20, 2012, 01:17:06 PM »
In my next life free of strife before you I'll appear to be, a Junebug, so full of life,
That on the street you'll stop and see me: spotted, settling momentarily, then hovering off to places unknown,
As your restles eyes try to follow my course, and then open more widely to your own.

Life seems to ebb in the midst of its flow, a secret for like hearts to know,
But through the mind's eye all is haze, while spirit's emotion breaks through the maze,
Two people, through strange circumstance in time, still drink life together, a fine, rich wine.
Time is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, when other dimensions are as rippling rings.

I have forever dreamed of a coming together, wordless mingling with something fantastic and real!
The Junebug whirring up into the vast starriness of night...
The first Firefly seen since childhood flashing on and off...
Racoons chittering in the still-night air...
The silhouetted leaves in the windy trees at dusk...
Waves crashing aginst the rocks far below...
The smell of salt on the sea...
In one's eternal imagination, a tenderness never dies, through time that flies.

Leave me not is all I ask,
As life and love gives us meaning,
This is a magical gleaning,
For, as two strange souls touch,
True Life is to be lived as much.

Thank you so much, Terry and Doug.

I don't know about my 'beautiful heart' Terry. That is a very kind compliment I don't think I'm deserving of. Right now I feel ominous rumblings within me. That might turn into a poem: ominous rumblings.

Thank you both again for your caring. I must try and be more THERE for you all! It is difficult, sometimes - often - not to be self-consumed with one's own pain especially when it is exacerbated by things going on in one's life - (as the shit at work is about to hit the fan in my life). Not much time to grieve in the midst of a maniac-micro-manager-boss-in-budget-crisis-land, but c'est la vie, right?

Love from Helene

(((Helene))))

You truly have a gift for expressing yourself.

And you are most deserving of the complement Terry gave you.  Don't be too hard on yourself.

Thank you Pam. I'm feeling especially down these days. Things are extremely stressful at work with a new boss and only going to get worse. I feel very depressed at work especially. Can't stand our new boss. Worry about keeping my job. I have fantasies of offing myself in the basement of my work building. There's some spite in that wish. Sorry to share such gritty thoughts but that's how I'm feeling these days.

Thanks for being there for me.

Love from Helene

I know what it's like to hate your job and dread going there, day in and day out.  I used to have a job like that - it took everything I had to get there.  Hang in there, sister....one day at a time.  My husband always tells me "it can't rain every day".

lots of love.

Thank you Pam,

Your encouragement and support means the world to me! I feel mysel sinking. At least I can still read books. Books and you all here at Webhealing keep me going and I feel so SELFISH so much of the time because I don't respond to others here enough!

Hope you're doing ok Pam!

Love from Helene

Hi Pam,

No, work is no better. Today and the next week or so will really tell the story. I feel ill almost all the time, am not sleeping well. Feel like barfing at my desk.

I am glad you are ok. Life can be such a trial so much of the time.

Thank you again for your caring!

Love from,

Helene.
