My current total sponsorship- £576, which is about USD $917 that I raised personally. Not bad for a girl that hasnt lived in the country for a long while. Total for the race is huge!

Nearly 2,500 people took part in the Keswick to Barrow 40 mile race, raising a huge amount in sponsorship for a number of local, regional and international charities. Average time in is somewhere around 12 hours.

This year the first to complete achieved an astonishing time of 4 hours and 18minutes.
4:18 for 40 miles!
Bear in mind this is NOT a flat course, it goes over one obscenely steep climb at Red Bank and a LOOOONG gradual over Kirkby Moor, as well as undulating across the entire length of the Lake District. Its stunningly beautiful and shockingly under-reported, even in the regional tv!
Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy
