My beautiful, precious Daddy took his last breath in my and my sister's arms early this evening after suffering from the awful disease of Alzheimer's for 11 years. I cared for him here in my home for the past nine and my prayers were answered when he fell into a deep sleep and two days later, died very peacefully. After me and a Hospice nurse bathed and dressed Dad, he was draped with an American flag, being a Navy Seal and serving in the Marine Corps, and the Sheriff's department was here with an honored salute. It took my breath away...what was left of it.
I want you all to know that although I have not been here much in the last three weeks, that you have all been in my thoughts and in my heart with having to deal with the holidays. I check in twice a day for messages, except for yesterday and today. Pam has been helping with posting dates and if you should need any help or have any questions, since this week will be especially busy for me, please don't hesitate to contact Pam or Tom.
I have a room set up for our group in chat, The Cave so feel free to pop in Sunday. Get together and fill each other in on how the holidays are going for you. I'll pop in Sunday, too. I've missed everyone.
You all have my Heart & Love,
Terry
