Poem
« on: August 20, 2011, 05:30:51 AM »
‎"Mum, please don't feel guilty
It was just my time to go.
I see you are still feeling sad,
And the tears just seem to flow.
We all come to earth for our lifetime,
And for some it's not many years
I don't want you to keep crying
You are shedding so many tears.
I haven't really left you
Even though it may seem so.
I have just gone to my heavenly home,
And I'm closer to you than you know.
Just believe that when you say my name
I'm standing next to you,
I know you long to see me,
But there's nothing I can do.
But I'll still send you messages
And hope you understand,
That when your time comes to cross over,
I'll be there to take your hand. "

I believe that they 'will' be there with an outstretched hand to welcome us.

So touching. Thanks for sharing this, (((((Nancy)))))!

Thanks for sharing this, Nancy.

It brought tears to my eyes, but in a good way.

I have been missing Vince a lot this past week - my foster daughters are starting school next week, and the younger one is going to the same elementary school Vince did; the older one is going to ths same high school.  It's been quite a week, with all the school supply and clothes shopping . . . and going by the elementary school to see the teacher/room/student assignments, etc.

I also ran into one of Vince's best pals today.

Lots of memories.

I miss him and am glad to have somewhere to share that feeling.  I know other people know what the word "miss" means, but no other people know quite the same way you all do.

Thanks again, Nancy.

Sarah what a wonderful thing you are doing by being a foster parent where would those children be without you
