yesterday:

got up early and took a shower, went to a workshop taught by rania bossonis
actually had alot of fun
then danced at a hafla -- she told me that i'm a beautiful dancer and she thought one of my particular moves was really cool

that means alot, really

i felt like matthew was with me yesterday. yesterday was actually an okay day

Today got up and just wanted to go back to bed all day.
cleaned up alittle, did laundry, almost threw this computer out the window  :'(
read alittle, to hot to do to much today, sitting outside with the neihbors which I dont
usually do but the woman next door is in a crisis and is pretty upset, so I am sitting with her
for alittle support.

Great Idea!  Today I went through 3 boxes of Mama's "stuff", it was very emotional because it was perfume and old wallets, things with her handwriting.  I am glad I did it, I had put if off long enough, now to get through the rest of the boxes that I moved to our new home after she passed.  Sad, but I felt close to her.

today: talked to matthew's brother and his friend

went outside more than i have the past two months

watched alot of TV (one thing about post-workshop soreness, the physical hurt somewhat distracts from the emotional one)

tomorrow, planning to help matthew's brother start cleanup of the housefire

* Went to an art class. After the class was done, I decided not to take it since I thought it was from 11:00 to 11:50 Mon and Wed. It turns out it was 11:00 until 1:20 Mon and Wed. So I'm skipping it. Plus the teacher was annoying too and all the students were probably 19 and 20. I need to be around people my age. So I have to search again.

yesterday
had breakfast at hotel before leaving for airport; flew back
took son's girfriend to her parents
got home about 8:15 pm and was happily greeted by my dog; my neice stayed at my house while I was gone
kind of unpacked, but not really
got on line for a few minutes
was hungry as didn't eat since breakfast; made a "box-micro" rice meal, then had ice-cream; not a good idea at 10:30 pm
fell asleep on downstairs couch until 2:30 am

today
could not get back to sleep; last look at clock was 5:30; arlam went off at 6:30
made it to work at 8:00 on time! but very tired!
so many thoughts running through my head - especially about Jim
suitcases are still in the kitchen on the table and one on the floor - just got the essentials out I needed - will still be there later, no one else to put them away!
have a greif session tonight at 5:30; have a feeling I will be very tired

georgia; that is so nice of you ......... helps to put the focus on someone else for a moment or two ........
(sitting outside with the neihbors which I dont usually do but the woman next door is in a crisis and is pretty upset, so I am sitting with her  for alittle support)

it's 10 am here; will see how the rest of the day developes - lots to catch up on at work; been gone since the 7th and just back today; notes and files everywhere!!

Lets see, today we did....nothing. I did laundry, steve rested his hip as he injured it and has been seeing a chiropractor, the kids slept in and played. We went to dinner then bed.

yesterday we hit another museum. Spent all day there learning and playing. Been so long since I have been to any museum, I did realize they were using holograms. Fredrick Douglas surprised me poping up like he did. Man Im getting old.  ;D

Im getting nervous. Vacation is almost over and steve will return to work and Ill be left to my thoughts again. I hope I have a new prespective on things when we are done. Im having fun. Yes I said it, I am having FUN. I don't want to go back to the "normal". Wish we were independently wealthy sometimes. :)

I was supposed to have some fasting lab work done, so got up and dressed. About half way into town I realized that I ate a piece of toast, so coulnd't do the blood work.  I am not a Seventh Day Adventist, but they were having church this morning, so I went in.  It was very quiet and slow, but it gave me something to do for  an hour and a half.  I did get one confirmation though.  I had been thinking for several days about the Children of Israel in the Bible and how when they were wandering in the desert, God gave them manna one day at a time to sustain them.  I had decided that all I should expect from God would be one day at a time "manna" to sustain me through my sorrow.  As it turned out, at the church they did a little story for the small children, and it was about how God sustained the children of Israel one day at a time with manna from heaven.  I felt that God had renewed His promise to take care of me one day at a time.  I praise Him for that.
