i know exactly how you feel i lost my youngest son last dec.2007 at the age of 20 today i was finally able to go in his room and clean it up  you are in for a long road but you will make it this site is wonderful and you will see that you are not alone god bless~nancy

I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious son.

I also have 3 children and lost my youngest child, Philip, 5 years ago due to injuries sustained in a car accident.  Philip was in the summer before his senior year in high school... he was 17 years old.

You are so very new on the journey.  There are many here who walk this journey with you and understand your pain.  I hope as you are able you will continue to come and post or just read... you are not alone.

I have a daughter , April who is 32
Taylor would have been 19 in 2 months.

Aaron's mom - I'm so so sad to hear about your precious son! I hope you will find this a safe place to share your grief and your memories of your sweet boy!

I'm not a parent myself - but lost my nephew Christopher, only child of my brother - to a hit and run driver in 2003. Chris was three weeks shy of his 17th birthday, a junior in high school. Chris is the only child in my immediate family as I have none of my own.. we miss him beyond words.

I too am in Washington State. There are some good compassionate friends chapters here you might want to try and give it a go. They were very helpful to me at the beginning, and still are.

No words can express how sorry I am that you have had to find us. My precious son, my firstborn was killed in an auto accident on June 26 1004 at the age of 10. Life ended that day and the person I was, died with him. It is a long, hard journey that requires hard work and loads of support. It will be 5 years in June and I am still taking one step, one day at a time. Nothing can be said...just know so many here understand and can help you in your grief. Sending stength and peace.
