And I am SO happy for your joy. (((((((Charles's Father))))))

Bittersweet, yes and I understand those feelings.

Yet, knowing your son has brought life to another....just WOW, must be an awesome and exciting feeling.

And in another way, all of our children live on. In our hearts. Our memories.

Yes, there IS a Santa Clause!

Sending my love and understanding,
Terry

Charlesfather,

I know how this feels... we got 3 letters from organ recipients.

I know for me there were all kinds of emotions with this but it certainly is nice to know that you changed someone's life.  Out of something so tragic, something good can happen.

Sending you a very big hug,
Jeanne

That is good news. I know it is sad but your son helped someone else. My son was an organ donor but couldn't donate because of the investigation of the accident. None of his organs were donated and that was his last wish. I was really down about that.

I've thought about that over the last 4 years, well just recently really, what if I had donated Taylor's organs? It would be so bitter/sweet to meet or hear from the recipients. But Taylor was only 14 and I just couldn't, especially not knowing what he would have wanted me to do. I'm glad you got the letter and that your son lives on inside someone....

I am excited yet it seems to bring back a lot of pain, I and my wife are doing ok , we have a large family and they do keep us busy and this board has helped me so much.
