How do I start to grieve??
« on: June 05, 2008, 07:04:16 AM »
Its been almost 10 years since my grandpa and cousin died. I also have lost a unborn child during that time. I have never grieved my loss, sure I have cried but I never allowed myself to feel it, espeically my baby. How do I begin to grieve after such a long period of time. I always think about going up to the cemetary and I can never bring myself to it- I have issues with crying and I don't want people to see me. I just hurt so much but I don't know what to do.

I can not tell you how to start to grieve. Anymore then I can tell  someone they should stop.
I think grieving and how we grieve is a very personal experience for us all. I do think you should grieve it can not be healthy to hold all those feelings in.

Try reminiscing ......................Maybe by taking all the personal belongings and pictures of your lost loved ones and remembering them would be a start.

Sending peace and comfort your way.
