Sweetpea: So sorry to hear about the needed surgery, but grateful they can repair the cartilage. (Have you been sneaking out at night and playing basketball?)  :D  :D  :D
You know you have my prayers, and please let us know what day the surgery will be.
You have been such a blessing to me and so many others. (((((((((((((((((((((((((((Sweetpea)))))))))))))))))))))))))))  ;D Love, Lonnie

Thanks so much Lonnie, My surgery is next  wednesday, Sept 26   at 10:00 am,  it's an out patient procedure ( hospitals today.... don't keep you for pretty much anything anymore.....lol ) my husband was very upset when I had back surgery in 2004 and it was also treated as an outpaitent procedure!!!!! go figure......  My Doctor says that I will be up and about in 3 to 4 days!!!! that was music to my ears. I feared I was going to have another  total knee replacement, I've already had one in my right knee, and it was pure hell!!!! it was done in 2002 I rehab for 1 1/2 years before I had enough range of motion to walk, without being confined to a wheel chair. Even though I still can't do alot of walking I cherish everyday that I can move around with help from a cane!!!!! and that God is GOOD!!!!!!! so you just keep me in your prayers, and I'll do the same for you as I always do, :D :D :D :D and we'll be just fine. Luv U Sweetpea

Dear Middle Sis,
I haven't heard from you lately, How has progress going with your foot? I hope and pray that there has been healing. Please let us know how you are doing. We are all here for each other, when one is down, the others will lift you up!!!! just keep your head up, keep your faith and trust in God, or your higher power and things will work themselves out.

wishing you the best Sweetpea

No healing yet, but the pain is not so bad anymore. The doc just keeps wanting to wait it out. He said I can try wearing a regular shoe now, but I am scared to. I worry that I will trip or fall and totally displace the bone since it hasn't begun healing yet. He says that sometimes using it will help promote the healing process. I don't know, The more this goes on the more I think maybe I should get a second opinion. Will try to keep you posted.

Bless your heart Middle Sis. ??? Maybe another opinion would be good. This is a very important decision, and a very important part of your body. So why not get someone elses' take on it? Let us know when you find out more. I'm thinking of you! :) Hugs and Prayers-Lonnie

Hi Middle Sis,
I also agree with Lonnie you should get a 2nd, 3rd, if necessary 4th opinion of your foot!!! WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR ARE YOU GOING TO ? is he a family doctor? he does not sound like a foot doctor , you need a specialist!!! go on the internet and  look under orthopaedic surgeons in your area, if you have already had an mri and xrays with this doctor, take them with you to the new specialist, a specialist will find out what's really going on. Believe me you do not want prolonged issues with your foot, legs, knees etc..... I'll be praying for you please take my advise, I have become somewhat of an adviser for all the trips and surgeries and Doctors I have seen and talked to in the last 6 years.......lol   ;D ;D ;D ;D  Take care, and please let me know what happens.
