I'm so sorry, Mark that you had to say good-bye to your Tunnie. RIP, precious baby.

Thanks so much for asking about Clapton. I appreciate it. He's hanging in day at a time.

Feel free to start a new thread where only our fur babies are being shared. I could not have survived all of these years of losses without mine. They are family members and those who do not feel that way surely do not have to post on that thread.

Sending a big hug (((((((Mark)))))))

Hi Donna,

I'm so sorry to read of the loss of your precious daughter. As a Mom who has buried her children I certainly understand the awful pain you're in.

Hi Mark,

Sorry to read of your health problems and sure hope that soon you'll be on the mend. Also sorry to learn about your "Tunnie." I'm going through similar here with my baby. Clapton turned 21 in September and it's just one day at a time now. He needs help getting up as the arthritis is bad in his hip. He's on lots of good meds and seems pretty happy but slowing down each week.  He'll let me know when it's time - they all let me know. It's heartbreaking so I understand what you're going through.

Keep in touch and please let me know how Tunnie is doing. You have each other and that's a lot. :love9:

Sending big hugs to you and give a scratch behind the ears from me to Tunnie.

Child Loss / Re: Is there an age limit for "child"

The holidays are a very difficult time atop the already heavy burden of grief that we carry from day to day. There's so much more pressure on men to 'not' show emotion, signalling that crying is a sign of weakness. It is not. Crying is healthy. The strongest men to have graced my life had no trouble crying when hurt/sad.

Thanks for checking in and letting us know how you're doing. Share of your precious Matt whenever you're comfortable doing so. Someone is always reading.

Parent Loss / Re: Daily struggle missing both parents
« on: January 10, 2018, 05:54:39 PM »

I'm so sorry to read of the great loss of both of your precious parents. So young to lose two extraordinary people. And I believe that they 'can' see you and that they are with you, always.
With every major event in our lives there is always a sadness when we're unable to share it with those we love. My Mom died when she was 48 and I was young, too. I'll always miss her because I loved her so much. I don't think that missing ever goes away, it just becomes a part of us, a very manageable part of our lives. We bring with us all of the experiences from our loving parents into our future and they continue to mold us into adults.

'You' are proof that your parents existed and all of the love in your heart is because they loved you so much. You are their 'product.'
And when the time comes that you decide to have your own children, you will know in your heart that it's the right time. Take the time to heal your heart, as long as that might take.

Welcome to Webhealing.
