Hello Doug!
Sorry I don't get too much time to pop into the forum and talk. I read up weekly and try to respond. As always I love reading the random stories you think of.

The story that you posted about not being an adult with your brother kind of hit home to me. My brother is in the Marine Corps. I left home as soon as I graduated high school which was a year before he graduated and then he went straight to the military. He lives in North Carolina now and is already married. But I often think about how I havn't gotten any time with him as a adult, and it worries me when he goes on deployments.

Anyway, off of me... I feel like when there are a lot of anniversaries and significant changes in your life, its totally normal to think of other past traumas. It's good that you can realize that. did you find the poetry? Id like to read it.

Doug,

You know, I've noticed a theme in almost all of your posts... You always bring up your wife. It seems like she is an awesome support for you, and that is something that a lot of grieving people do not have. I'm sure you are very thankful for having her there for support, and I'm sure many people wish they had that. Keep on writing when things come to you... I enjoy reading!

On a lighter note, I as well hate the phone. It just annoys me. :)

I think it is great that you found a resource that would help you deal with your grieving process! grieving is truly one of those things that it gets worse before it gets better. I thoroughly enjoy reading your updates and hope to continue seeing them! not too many people can say that they know what you have gone through, but there are plenty people here to listen and enjoy your recovering process with you!
