Title: National Sibling Day
Post by: Gail08 on April 10, 2015, 03:45:49 PM
Am missing Jolene so much today as it is National Sibling Day.  I was so blessed to have had her for a sibling.  I always told her that she was the best sister in the world and she always told me the same thing.  The time we had together is so very precious to me.  I will forever cherish every second of it. I would give anything to have one more day with her.

Facebook does not make that an easy day for us, huh?  (Did Facebook create the "holiday"?)

Gail, glad to "see you here".  Crazy how long it's been. Just crazy.  Bad day for me today. At a funeral, visited Jori's gravesite.  Still hard.  Sometimes I wonder if "this the new normal"; less laughing, etc.  I do understand how you feel about one more hug from Jolene.

It is hard seeing all that National Sibling Day stuff, isn't it, Gail?

Yes Doug, it is extremely hard. It just makes us miss our siblings that much more. The thing about it is that while she was still alive I never heard a thing about that day.
