Today marks two years that twenty innocent, beautiful children were killed while in their classrooms at school in Sandy Hook. A place where they thought and where we all thought they would be safe.

I remember when I heard the news. I had a dinner party and we were just getting up from the table when someone turned on the TV and the news because their phone had beeped with an alert. We never made it down to the living room instead sat on the landing on the way down, a few of us weakened from our legs going out from under us. We couldn't believe what we were hearing and none of us could stop crying.

Today in their memory and in their honor we remember those beautiful children who were gone from this earth and from their parent's arms way too soon.
