Recommended Grief Books / No time to say Goodbye
« on: July 24, 2008, 02:04:12 PM »
I just finished this book I got from the library and now have it ordered because it is a KEEPER. My mom shot herself in the head, March 7, 2008. I've been reading many books but this one surpasses the rest on suicide. I highly recommend this one!

Barbara,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I too, lost my son at age 25 back in 2003. His 31st birthday is coming up in August.

I won't lie to you Hon it's hard. It was the hardest thing I ever had to live through. Its been 5 years and I still think of him every day and wonder how life would be now, if he was still in it. When family things happen, I think of him.

I had a hard time for about 3- years and what made me come out of it, was the death of my precious dad. Then I got worried about my mom and never really grieved my dad. Then this past March my Mom committed suicide and now I feel I am left with all 3 of their deaths...

I do okay now when it comes to my son. I am more at peace with it...I mean what choice do I have? But I have my days...I miss him so much.

I hope to hear back from you. Get some support. I know for me I joined AngelMoms on yahoo and that helped. I also had a website for him.

Take Care Hon.

Debby
