Artist seeking opportunity to memorialize your loved one
« on: October 13, 2018, 12:43:57 AM »
I am placing this post here on behalf of an artist named Bill Fink who is searching for people willing to allow him to create photorealistic images of their loved one using a small portion of that person's cremated remains.  Mr. Fink has been developing a photo technique for four decades that allows him to create images out of pretty much anythingó what he wants to do, however, is create compelling, moving, interesting pictures with his process.  Finding people willing to allow him to use their loved one's cremated remains is next to impossible, and he knows it, but I am here to ask anyway.  Mr. Fink would first take a photograph of the person experiencing loss, perhaps holding a photograph of the person who has passed, then take a small portion of that persons cremated remains and convert it into an image that is a replica of the photograph he tookó using only the cremated ash.  He is located in Los Angeles, but would be willing to travel and offer a modest honorarium to anyone who is willing to help him with this project.  You  can visit his website to view his work: it is located at timeandmatterphotogtraphy dot com, or you can visit his Wikipedia article (under "William Fink") for more information.  If you think that this might help with your own grieving process, please get in touch!  Thank you!!!
