Missing Dad on Father's Day
« on: June 18, 2016, 01:38:16 PM »
Although some time has passed,
And time has marched along,
Your memory remains,
So deep, so true, so strong.

Through laughter, joy and tears,
You're thought of every day,
Keeping you here with us,
At least in some small way.

There have be a lot of new milestones,
With grandkids, grads, and such,
But with each and every one of these,
You are thought of and missed so much.

We are missing you on Father's Day,
But that's not the only time,
So, many thanks to you in heaven,
With this, this simple rhyme.

I wrote this this morning, just really missing my dad this Father's Day!
