Numb and in shock

I am so very numb and literally in shock right now. I am still dealing with the loss of my uncle and then this past weekend a friend of mine who I have been friends with for 27 years unexpectedly had a massive stroke and passed away yesterday. It is so unreal to me that she is gone. We had so much fun together through the years. When we were teenagers we had sleepovers together, we went to youth church functions together, went roller skating numerous times and just had a blast together. Sometimes we would just take walks and talk. How does a person keep going during times like this? It is so hard.

I'm so sorry to hear about another loss for you, Gail. To answer your question, I think we just do.
The only way to keep going is just keep going. I'm thinking of you.

Gail,
I too am very sorry about the sudden and unexpected loss of your dear friend. I don't have the answers either as to why life is so unfair and horrible at times. Hang on to whatever support anyone gives you during this time. We are here for you too. Please share with us whatever you feel you can when you can and we will be here to read and share.
With much love,
(((((((((((Gail))))))))))))))
Helene.

Helene,
Thanks again for your support. I don't know what I would do without it and the support from everone else here at Webhealing. It is the support from everyone here that keeps me going. I do want to share more about my friend, as she was one of my best friends, but I am just not ready yet. Her funeral was Friday and it was such a hard day. When I viewed her body in the casket it was just so unreal. My heart is in so much pain right now.
Thanks again Helene and eveyone here. You are all such a blessing to me. My prayers are with you all.
((((HUGS)))) to all,
Gail
