Aiko with Jason
« on: February 12, 2008, 06:48:36 PM »
It's over.  We held Aiko, he went peacefully, we cried and cried, for our son for his dog.  Thank you all for your understanding.

I am so sorry. We lost our female Mastiff Maddy in the early morning hours of Sat./Sun. She was 10 which is quite old for her breed combine that with the fact that she had a horrible first 4 years of her life . She was placed in Rescue at just over 4 years old and she spent a little over 5 great years with us.....I was away for the weekend with some friends and hubby called to tell me. it was horrible knowing that I wouldnt get the chance to say goodbye to my old girl or hug my kids until i got later that day.
She died peacefully at hubbys feet...we miss her horribly.
Please know I understand and am so very, very sorry.

I am so sorry. When Tim's dog died in my arms, the loss was terrible, magnified by the fact that she was a link to him. Be gentle with yourselves for the days ahead.
Take Care.

Rebecca I am so very very sorry.  This week is bad enough for you but to have the loss of Aiko also is unfair.  Please know I am thinking of you and Jason.

Rebecca,

I'm so so sorry...this is one hard week for you.  We put Philip's dog down last year and I know how hard this is...that connection to our boys.

I just know that Fred (the dog) and Philip are now together running, playing, having a great time.  Just know that Jason and Aiko are together doing the same.  These precious animals are with their masters.

Hugging you oh so very tight,
Jeanne

Rebecca,
At least know that Jason and Aiko are now together again.  I know that Marc is with Silk, she died when she was 13 and he was 12.  Friends forever our children and their pets.
Lots of love and hugs
