NOTE- I wrote a note to Calgary59 who had written the original post explaining that the main board was for the grief from deaths and that this board was specifically for grief not related to deaths and that I was going to move the topic.  Well, I tried to move this topic and it was deleted! This is new software for me and it isn't quite what I am used to.  My apologies Calgary59.  Luckily I was able to salvage the text and start a new message here. So responses should be to calgary59, not to me.

i am having such a difficult time with my son living so far away from home. He moved away
For a good job, which I am happy that he has, but I really miss having Him around.  Funny thing is he's home for Xmas which I love . But is leaving in 2 days to go back out west. I am so saddened

Child Loss / The connection of love and grief
« on: December 29, 2014, 07:25:49 PM »
All too often we forget that grief and love are intertwined and inseparable.  It is love that fuels the grief.  When we are indifferent there is little grief.

There is no shame in loving and therefore no shame in grief.  Wear it proudly.

Spouse, Partner Loss / The boards have been updated
« on: December 29, 2014, 06:25:50 PM »
The boards have been updated to the latest version.  Please let me know if anything is not working.  It looks like all is working well but sometimes little glitches can pop up so please let me know.

There are some new features that I will be posting about shortly that I think may be helpful.

We are continuing to have problems with spammers.  I will be working on this today and you may find that you are unable to post or reply.  Hopefully this will all be fixed in a short time.  Sorry for the mess.

Spouse, Partner Loss / hello and the blog
« on: November 09, 2012, 06:01:35 PM »
Just wanted to say hello to everyone.  Terry and Pam are both away from the boards for just a bit so I am checking in.  If there are problems let me know.

Wanted you to know that I have started a blog for webhealing.  You can see it here:

http://webhealing.com/blog

I will be posting there and will also be taking guest posts.  If anyone here would like to contribute please email me at golden@webhealing.com and put blog in the subject heading and put your post in the body.  I can't guarantee that it will be published but you never know.  We will be looking for short posts of about 500-800 words that will be helpful to those who are grieving.  Whatever has helped you, share it and let's see.  Also any ideas about dealing with the holidays would be great to post.  At this point it is all fairly new so we will play it by ear.

Blessings to all!

Sibling Loss / Apologies for the down time
« on: June 10, 2011, 08:42:15 AM »
My apologies for the down time.  The site was hacked last night and it took me a good deal of time to bring it up again.  I think things are all set.  It is nothing for you to worry over.  It was obviously hackers that tried to redirect traffic from webhealing to their choice of sites.  It is fixed at this point and all should be back to normal.

The way the hackers got in was likely the chat program.  I have now disabled it. I prefer to keep the boards and site running free and in order to do this I think we will have to sacrifice the chat for now.  It won't be long until the newest version of this software comes out and when it does we will find a new chat for those who are interested.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
