I just received an email from my husband.  He heard from her brother. Olivia is just coming out of surgery on her liver.  They did something to try to buy her some time.  She will be released on Saturday to come home with her Mom & Dad and will have a limited amount of time.  I know that Josh is with her and will be there for her when it is time.

I am hoping that we will be able to get out there and see her and my brother-in-law & sister-in-law.

I am amazed and awed by the fight in this girl - maybe because I haven't seen that in my other family members who has passed from Cancer.

My heart is beyond broken for my in laws, but I can only hope to be able to be a good source of support & love to them.

I am also hoping that they can get out of Boston & back to Buffalo before that storm hits.

Love,
Dena, Josh's Mom

Dena,

Sending along my thoughts and prayers to you and your family  It just doesn't make any sense.  Geez, Louise she's just a young woman.  None of it makes sense, so I guess we just have to hang onto whatever our believe system is that we will understand at some point in time.

I'm so very sorry for all the pain your family is going through.

Hugs, Linda

Dena, you all continue to be in my prayers as you support precious Olivia in the last days/weeks of her life, continuing to pour all of your love onto her, giving her the greatest gift this life can offer.

To be surrounded by those you love, nearing the end of your time on earth is truly a gift. We all know that everyone is not this fortunate. So much fear is lessened and comfort is felt, even amidst the pain.

Olivia sounds like quite the 'champ' and I'm sure her strength is being felt by all those around her. She cares deeply for her family.

I know your heart is broken and I also know that you will continue to be a great source of comfort and support to all. You are a very caring person.

Holding you close and sending you hugs. ((((((( Dena )))))))
My love,
Terry

Thank you, Terry!

My brother-in-law, sister-in-law & Olivia were at Josh's funeral.  Josh loved spending time with them.  At this point, I just hope & pray that Olivia is not in pain and that I can be a strong source of support & love to her wonderful parents.  It is so unthinkable that another set of parents will join our journey.

Olivia is an incredible woman and I know that Josh will continue to be there for her.

Love,
