Everyone here will understand what I am about to describe.
When Dan died, he had a small storage unit that I packed up and mailed to my house. The boxes have remained unopened til today. I only had the fortitude to open one. I found one of his digital cameras and took the memory card down to get the pictures on it transfered onto a DVD.
I miss him so much. There are pictures of him with Bree (she will be so happy when I send them to her) there are 2 pictures of he and Tanis that just tore me up, Tanis was so happy then, she is very suspicious and somber now. Her daddy was her tower.

I'm just so mad. Dan was a happy, vital young man. He was interested in everything, he was smart and loving, he was interesting to talk to. He amswered questions in a way that didn't make anyone feel stupid. He saw details in things that most people missed. He was encouraging. I will never be okay again, my Tanis is forever different. She doesn't like herself anymore

I know it's no ones fault that Dan died but I'm just so mad. He was needed here, he was loved here, but he's dead. It's just wrong.

Annie, I know how very difficult it was for you to open that box as I still have most sealed also. And, it's very sad that both our Granddaughters are lost without their Daddy's. My little sweetie smiles but her eyes are always crying.

Whenever we think our heart's can't break anymore... Sad

Our son's were both very vital, smart and loving, wonderful Fathers. Wonderful sons.

I agree that Dan is needed here the same as Jeff is and they are needed badly to mend their little girl's hearts. But, they are not but 'we' are and we must continue to help our little girls to make 'new' memories to warm their hearts to blend with the painful ones to try to fill a little more of the emptiness that they both feel.

Holding you close to my heart and please send Tanis my love.

I just found two 35mm film canisters in Michael's stuff that have not been developed. Now, bear in mind they have been in the garage for two summers since he died, and in Las Vegas, the temps in the summer get to about 105-111 or so, and the garage even worse. I don't know if the canisters will have anything to see. I'm going to take them into be developed and see what's on them.

Love you all,
Annette
