(((Nathan's Mom)))))
I am so sorry for the loss of your precious son. You have come to the right place, although I wish none of us had to be here. Grief is a long journey. We are all walking it beside you - you aren't alone.
I hope you will post and share more about Nathan when you feel ready.
Hugs,
Dena, Josh's Mom

Hi Sheila, I haven't been on the Board for a long time but felt a nudge to sign on. Maybe Halloween and what a big deal it was for my family and all the happy memories of their costumes and trick-or-treating. Maybe the holidays approaching. This Board, and the incredible support of those who understood and understand - I don't think i would have survived without them. I lost my 21 year old Jim in a car accident 1999, and two and a half years ago, his older brother at the age of 31, to suicide. I do have two surviving daughters and at the end of June, one delivered a beautiful little boy named with his uncles' middle names: Dugan William. I can tell you, promise you, that in time you will learn to live well with this awful reality simply to honor your son. It won't be easy, but it can and will happen. Savor those little moments when you feel something besides horrific pain. Be patient with yourself. Remember to breathe. Surviving another day is a big success.

Barb and Dena, thanks for replying to my post. I am so glad I joined the board. Everyone has been so welcoming and very nice. I wish we could have all met under better circumstances. It is really nice there are people willing to listen to what I have to say about my son. I will post more about him soon.
Thanks again to everyone.
Sheila
