I am copying a piece of his final email from August 9- he would not mind I do not think- and I recommend his early posts for any man dealing with loss, also Tom Golden's book. Kevin- What a truly kind person, the best of the best.

I really dont worry too much - this is about 1/3 as bad as losing Betty, trust me.

Our days as grievers just seem to blend into one another, don't they? We look back and wonder what its really all about, our pieces of  a shattered  world we have partly put back together again but it just will never be the same and that still is hard to accept sometimes, even after a year and a half. Even if I didn't have these health problems, things probably would not be all that much different.

I hope your days arent too bad for you, it helps to have a job and I just wanted to say hi, been a while so drop me a line when you feel like it. You are a good person and a good internet friend, so I hope your day is pleasant for you.   Kevin

That was so nice Terri,
I just looked at the last message Kevin left me and also the last daily accomplishment he wrote "I am grateful for the day" . 
I guess we really have to be. I used to sometimes talk with Kevin for a couple of minutes at lunch time when we were at work, a nice little getaway just to say "hi".  miss you Kevin.
