I wrote a poem about the relationship between my sister and I.  I thought there might be some who would like to read it.

SISTERS

A sister is a blessing
No doubt this is true,
And it's even more so
When that sister is you.

I have no greater fortune
Now wishes for what might have been,
For I not only have a sister
But also a friend.

In years we are far apart
But in heart we are very near,
and just how close we really are
Each day becomes more clear.

As we have grown closer
Each and every day,
What you mean to me
There's no words with which to say.

Whether it be good or bad
Whatever is in our stead,
Together we can face
Whatever lies ahead.

Where ever life may lead us
No matter what transcends,
One thing is for certain
We'll be sisters till the end.

I wrote this before she passed away but never got the chance to show it to her.  I entered it in a poetry contest and it won.  It was published in a poetry book.
