My father died early yesterday evening. He was the only remaining member of my family -- mom died in 92 and brother in 87.

I don't have any support around me and need to reach out to people who can understand. Will post more in the main board later on.

Thanks,
Sharon

Sharon~

So sorry to hear of the loss of your father, how difficult it is for you right now, compounded that he was the remaining family member.  I am glad you reached out to us, there are many here that are kind and loving and you will be part of our family now.

When you are ready, we anxiously await for you to post again.  I am on the Main board as well, so I will keep "the light on for you".

Sharon,

Welcome.  I am so sorry for your losses.  I am almost in the same situation.  I have an 87 y/o grandpa left in my  biological family.   But I do still have a wonderful supportive husband, thank God.

Feel free to post when you need to.  You are not alone.

Sharon

I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad.

Sadly, you have come to the right place, there is strength and understanding here.  We all walk this road together but differently.

Sending strength
Judy
