Hi guys,

My name is Ray.

I feel so blessed to have found you on this website.  I have read so many of the postings and realized that only those of us that are grieving can relate so well.

My wife died on December 23rd, 2008 after a bout with Liver cancer.

I am 62 years old and married Patty, "the last of my life", only 5 years ago.  I don't want this to be a eulogy, just understand that we were very happy..

I feel the deep sense of loss that you all have felt or are feeling, but my OVERWHELMING feeling is that of being cheated by her early demise in our relationship.  Do you guys feel that same cheated feeling and how are you dealing with it?

Thanks for your input and understanding.

Hi rainamn, I'm so sorry for the loss of your wife, so early into your marriage. My husband died April of this year and we were married 20 years and I still feel cheated. We were going to do so many things once the kids were alittle older. He passed away very suddenly without warning. This is a wonderful site, with alot of caring people. I'm sorry for the reason you have to be here, but glad you are here. Please know that your not alone and we all care.

Georgia.

Dear Rainman, So sorry. Yes, there are a lot of us who post on the Main board who have lost a spouse or friend and feel very deep grief. Glad you found the site, please post on the main board as you are able. "Deep breaths and baby steps..." as they say. Prayers go out to you. Terri
