Please read, looking for greeters

Thank you all for making these boards a safe place for people to come and work with their grief.

We are getting more and more new folks finding us and we have been thinking of starting an informal group of posters who could serve as "greeters."  These might be folks who have been here for a while and are comfortable with the boards and how they work.  This might entail responding to first time posts at the introductions board and welcoming people and helping them get oriented to how things work here.  I am thinking that those who choose to help out with this will have some sort of identifying mark that will help new folks see who they are and be willing to answer questions from those who are new.  This will hopefully insure that all new people are not left out or feel ignored and will be welcomed in. If you have ideas about how this might work or suggestions please feel free to offer them in this thread.
