I will leave in a few hours to go to my dying dad. I have lost others so not a new lesson but a deep loss still. I will now be the eldest member of our family.  I just thought this might be a good place to know I can come too when the weeks and months may challenge me.

I also wondered how to keep my email from being public. I hit submit and cannot now see how too edit.

Thank you each and blessings to you in the healing of your own loss/grief.

Dearest J/Q so sorry for the pain and grief encompassing you and your family now. Please return and write on the Main board. We want to hear from you. You can change your profile so email doesn't show to public- but it will always show to you. There are tutorials to follow to edit your profile then ask one of us if your email shows- or visit as a guest- from another computer. I had the same worry. It will always show up to you only if you say on your profile to keep it private okay. Prayers to you and your Dad. Our thoughts are with you. write soon. Your new friend Terri and the others here.

I'm so sorry to hear about your losses and your dad. Please know that indeed this will be a place to come for support and sharing and understanding, at any time.

I found this site about 4 years ago - about a year after my nephew was killed by a hit and run drunk driver. I have found great comfort here over the years and continue to find this a safe place to share my nephew and my grief and all that goes with it.

Please do return as you need or want..

luv and hugs, Karen

Greetings.  This place has saved my sanity many times in the past few months.  I say come often, read and post.  I am so sorry for the losses you have experienced in life.  God Bless.
