Hi everyone, my name is Bella, im 23, and ive lost both my parents and step parents- my mum four years ago when i was 18 to breast cancer, my step dad last year to drinking when i was 21, my dad five weeks ago to septacemia when i was 22, my friend two weeks ago who commited suicide at only 21, and finally my dads girlfriend three days ago. Her funeral is tomorrow. I cant cope with anymore of this, i think im going mad, im so stressed out..
Ive read some posts on here over the last couple of weeks and there are so many sad stories, lets hoping our mutual strength and understanding will get us all through. My heart goes out to you all and many best wishes and hugs, Bella xxxx  Undecided

Hi Bella:

First let me say that I am sorry that you are experiencing so many losses at such a young age.  I to have lost people close to me over the last five months.  My dad passed away from cancer in May, my husband completed suicide in July and a very dear friend of mine passed last week from a heart condition.  So many losses makes you question why one person should have to endure so much pain.  I really don't have the answers to those questions, as I am still searching.  I can tell you that from my experience going down this road, that it is good to talk to people about how you are feeling as much as you possibly can.  There are alot of really good people on this website who will give you good honest advice on how to get through this painful time in your life.  You may want to consider grief counceling or maybe a group for suicide survivors.  I have been attending a survivors of suicide group for two months and it does help to talk with people who are/have gone through all the emotions you are having.  Grief from suicide is not like grief from "natural" death, there are so many additional things that affect survivors of suicide.

I pray that you can find some comfort in your grief and keep posting on this site, it really does help.
