I'm Tess.  I just lost my best friend, my love, Ray, Jan. 30, 2008 from a heart attack.  He was 41.  We were together less than a year but I miss him terribly.

I wish I had something that would take away this unbearable pain that you're going through.  You are still so new in your grief.  Everything is so raw & painful right now.  I am so very sorry for the loss of your Ray.  Please know that this is a safe place to come to & talk as you sort through all these things that you're feeling.  Please come back & post as you're able.  I usually post on the main board.  Everyone there is so supportive.  Please take care of yourself & check back in when you can.

Tess - so sorry to hear about your love Ray - there are not enough words at times like these - Hope expressed it very well that this is a safe place to talk and one the main board I think you will find many other people who have lost their loves..

Hope you will come back and tell us more about Ray when you can.. be patient with yourself - grief takes a toll in all aspects of life - emotional, physical and spiritual - sometimes all we can do is one moment at a time..

Dear Tess,
 So very sorry for your loss, I know that right now you are at a place of shock and numbness. It doesn't seem real I want you to know that we all are here for you!!!! we are that soft place to fall.

We are the people you can talk to when ever you feel the need. Losing a love one is so painful, we all here on the boards have been there, and  some of us are still going through it.

So please do come back to post , say what ever is on your mind, or if you are not ready just come back and read others stories, you will see that we all share the same loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss and pain. I also have some really good friends that I would be devastated if I lost them.   I'm glad you found this place.  I hope you continue to post on our main board so that others can be there to support you here.
