Why can't we just see our nephew?

Hey guys,
Just frustrated today. My sister called and told me that my brothers 1st wife decided to take my brothers son and his step-brother camping this weekend and her husband and 2 daughters are staying home. Just so happens to be this is the last birthday party my sister is throwing for her kids before they move across state. She was throwing this b-day party as kind of a going away party as well and my brothers 1st wife knew about this. My sister and her are both in the same town now too. Pure and utter disgust is what I feel. She has done this with me for the last year now, and since I have made it my personal goal to not let her get to me and accept the fact that I am just not going to get to see  my brothers oldest son very much, now it is like she is putting her poison into my sister. What is wrong with this girl? How can anyone be so hateful and why? I just don't understand why she is doing this to our family. We don't deserve this. I try to understand where she is coming from, but it still makes me mad!! I just have to keep telling myself that all bad things are for good, but once again, I am having a hard time with it!
