My three-yr-old nephew was very close to my brother Jay, they both loved Superman and spent almost everyday watching Superman Returns together.  Anyways, fast forward to Easter day.  We were lucky enough to get the chance to spend some of the day with my niece (Jay's daughter who we haven't seen in weeks) My niece was in our computer/play room and my nephew was in our living room. (you can see the computer room from our living room, they are right beside one another.) Anyways. my nephew was playing with my parents' friend and I heard him say "Jim, look at there...look at Uncle Jay with Emma...he's so funny." and he continued on playing with his toys.  About an hour later I asked him if he saw his Uncle Jay and he told me yes that he was standing behind Emma. I asked him what Uncle Jay was wearing and he said "clothes...but he had a circle over his head".  I loved this story and it made my mom so happy. I've always heard that children (and pets I believe) have a sense and are able to see spirits more so than adults. So, I'm really not crazy, I swear...I just wanted to share this wonderful story. Lisa - sorry to jump over from the main board.. but just had to say what an awesome story! I have had parents who have lost a child tell me of other young children in the family seeing the deceased.. and as the song says "I Believe".. so glad your nephew saw Jay and was able to tell you about it..

luv and hugs, Karen

Lisa,

How wonderful!!! You are not crazy, your nephew did see his Uncle and what a great wonderful thing for your mom.  My little granddaugther is only 6 months old but we know that she sees her Uncle Philip.  I normally am on the child loss board but also lost my brother 10 years ago and my youngest child 3+ years ago.

Hold on to this story forever.
